Replace the AC evaporator when cabin cooling drops, a musty smell appears, or refrigerant leaks, since a damaged core can no longer absorb heat and weakens the entire air-conditioning system.

• Make:Genuine
• Replacement sign: Weak cold-air flow, a foul odor when the AC runs, or repeated loss of refrigerant.
• Approximate lifespan: Typically lasts between 150,000 and 200,000 km under normal driving conditions.
• Install requirement: Installation requires evacuating the refrigerant and removing the dashboard, so a qualified technician is recommended.
