Details

Replace the right front seat belt when the webbing is frayed, the retractor is slow to recoil, or after any collision, since a weakened belt reduces occupant protection in a crash.

• Replacement sign: Frayed or cut webbing, slow retraction, or failure to lock firmly during a sudden pull.
• Approximate lifespan: Typically lasts the vehicle's lifetime if undamaged, but must be replaced immediately after any collision.
• Install requirement: Requires removing the pillar trim and torquing the belt anchors to spec by a qualified technician.
