Replace the transmission cooler when you notice fluid leaks, overheating gearbox temperatures, or damaged fins, since it keeps the fluid cool and protects against costly transmission failure.

• Replacement sign: Fluid leaks, rising gearbox temperature, a clogged core, or bent and damaged cooling fins.
• Approximate lifespan: Typically lasts between 150,000 and 200,000 km depending on driving conditions and maintenance.
• Install requirement: Requires a qualified technician to drain and refill the fluid and check for leaks.
